StrengthsFinder 2.0®: Introduction to Investing in Strengths Based Leadership

Megan is a Gallup Certified Strengths® Coach using the CliftonStrengths® assessment. As of 2017, over 16 million people have used this tool to discover their talents. This interactive workshop is designed to help your employees discover their unique talents, and help them explore how to invest in those talents to create leadership strengths. While most people enjoy taking their StrengthsFinder assessment, there is often an issue of "now what" that follows after they see their results. This workshop will help you answer that question.

People are at their best when they are able to use their talents and abilities - the traits and behaviors at which they naturally excel. Empowering your people to discover and develop their strengths will position them to do what they do best every day. Gallup research shows that people who use their strengths every day are six times more likely to be engaged on the job. Teams that focus on strengths every day have 12.5% greater productivity. Teams that receive strengths feedback have 8.9% greater profitability. Why?

This workshop explores what's behind the powerful Strengths-Based approach to leadership. We will analyze your own Strengthsfinder 2.0 results, and discuss how these talents can be understood and leveraged for leadership effectiveness and career success. This workshop will show you how to benefit from an approach that is transforming the way individuals view their potential for leadership and high performance.

Strengths Based Teams

Take your strengths based development to the next level with this workshop specifically designed to explore the interactions and dynamics of talents in a team context. By exploring the unique talent profile of your team members, we will uncover how such differences may explain the challenges your team faces, and also discover the potential opportunities that lie in such differences. Coaching for managers of strengths based teams is also available.

Gentelligence®: Understanding & Leveraging Generational Diversity in the Workplace

Mind the gap! The Millennial generation - some 81 million people born between the early 1980s-early 2000s- is a source of intense frustration, yet great potential for today's managers and bosses in the workplace. In this session, we will discuss the dynamics of the generation gap in 21st century organizations-where these differences stem from, and how they impact employees' attitudes, behaviors and expectations at work. You're invited to share your experiences, and we will discuss how to navigate the challenges as well as how to harness the potential benefits of this new form of employee diversity--what we call Gentelligence®. Training and development tools for understanding generational diversity are also available.

Why Should Anyone Be Led By You? Discovering and Defining Your Leadership Brand

A simple but profound question. What's your answer? The most experienced executives often struggle to clarify the driving values and vision that make them uniquely qualified to lead. In this workshop, we will explore your values, your unique leadership differential, and the power of revealing weakness in enlisting followers to engage in a common vision.  You will develop your own leadership vision statement to guide your decisions and leadership strategy.

Lean in? The Role of Gender in 21st Century Leadership

This workshop focuses on gender's role in leadership in the 21st century. Do women define success and ambition the same way men do? Are such differences at the root of the gender gap in upper levels of leadership? Why are success and likeability positively correlated for men, but negatively correlated for women? How can organizations better support men who want to have more work-life balance? Do women have a responsibility to lean in to leadership positions if they are offered? This workshop will utilize both academic research and practical experiences of participants to explore these thought-provoking questions.

Start with Why: Creating a Purpose-Driven Organization

Simon Sinek started a revolution with his TED talk:  Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Action. In this thought provoking workshop, we will explore the key concept of this movement--that "people don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it". What is your why, and how can you inspire others to share that passion?

Emotional Intelligence: Sharpening your Leadership EQ

Emotional intelligence has been shown to be a key differentiator between average leaders and outstanding ones. At the executive level, EQ has been shown to account for up to 90% of the difference between average and excellent leadership abilities. The good news? EQ can be developed and learned. In this workshop, we will explore what is meant by Emotional Intelligence, assess each participant's own EQ, and discuss practical strategies for building your emotional quotient.

The DNA of Effective Teams

The ultimate goal of effective teams is to create "social capital"--to understand and utilize the complementary and unique talents of each team member in a way that results in greater impact than those members could have alone. In this workshop, we will dissect what differentiates a group from a team, how teams can leverage complementary talents, and utilize exercises and simulations to improve team dynamics and performance.
